IMPLOSIVE CONNECTORS

The technology used by utility contractors to connect overhead high voltage transmission lines has greatly improved over the past few years. Several decades ago, a process for joining electrical conductors was developed that was significantly better than conventional methods. This process uses implosive energy to do the work of compression. The technology behind this joining method has now been refined to a high level of quality and consistency and is now greatly surpassing conventional methods of hydraulic compression.
